Your silence
Your silence is filling the void so deep,
The emptiness I carry and only I could see.
Your foolish ways has shown me
What truly and little I seem to be.
Those lovely words once filled with grace,
Has now gone distant, maybe lost in space.
I don't know why, but I truly miss,
The comfort of your touch, that warm bliss.
The day you choose to keep things on hold,
I chose to replay our previous talks.
Just to hear your voice, I spoke to you --
Not to this brand new stranger, but the true you.
I thought of hating, crying, blaming,
Of shouting loud at you for shattering everything.
But all I did was try to find,
The reasons hiding deep in your mind.
Come back as the one I knew,
Before you turned into something new.
Because this version of yours make me doubt--
Who I am to you, and what we're about.
