Cortokino Day 2


The second day was as eventful as day one with events like the CortoKino main event (national), checkmate (script writing), good cop bad cop (drama event), Recoil Rewind (contingent short film event), Unleash (stand up event), Final masquerade (courtroom PR event), Pay your respects (trailer making event) and Walk of vice (fashion show). Day 2 kick-started with the screening of some amazing national short films like Midnight Run, Daastan-2, Inner-city, The sacrifice, Rushnai, Boiled Potato, Where do you find God, Jayadrath Wadh.
There were also some animated short films namely Evol, Panta rhei, iRony, Mr.eole, Hunting stories, and Bully. The judges for the same were acclaimed German actor Suzanne Bernett, Actor Akhil Mishra, Lyricist, and Screenwriter Amrik Gill, Veteran Actor Deepak Parashar and Actor Angela Dobson.
The drama event was judged by Flora Saini, Ankur Nayyar, and Avinash Wadhwan. Apart from the events, there was a teaser promotion for the upcoming 'Alt Balaji's show - Puncch Beat'. Siddharthh Sharma and Khushi Joshi from their star cast were present at the promotional event. The trailer making event was judged by the well-known editor ' Mr. Parth Bhatt ' and ' Mr. Gopi Bhalla ' was the judge for the stand-up event. The highlight of the day and the much-awaited event was the ' walk of vice ' which was the fashion show event. To judge the glamour, all glamorous Sana Khan and Madhav Sharma were present.
A very well-known actor ' Harry Josh ' was present for the prize distribution ceremony. The first place was bagged by the contingent ' Vito corleone '(Wilson college), the first runner-ups were the contingent 'El Chapo' (KC college) and the second runner up was ' Maya dolas (Jai Hind College). The best national short film was 'where do you find god?', whereas the international ones were bagged by 'Are You a Volleyball' (1st) and 'Because of a Little Apple' (2nd).
The seventh edition of CortoKino witnessed a lot of people from the industry. All in all this year was a great success, making people look forward to the next year. At last, 'Sabne mil ke Kayamat Macha Di.'
