Master Class with the Director

The Department of BAMMC and BAFTNMP organized a ‘Master Class’

on Saturday, 3rd October with Filmmaker, Writer, Producer & Musician

Aditya Kripalani. He is an author of three novels: Backseat, Front-seat

and Tikli and Laxmi Bomb. His second movie ‘Tottaa Pataaka Item Maal’

which was the subject of the Master Class opened at the Garden State

Film Festival in UK Asian Film Festival and is currently streaming on

Netflix. A radical feminist feature film and the belief of this movie

subsisted very clear that men will only understand the plight of women

when they are reciprocated with the same. The ‘Master Class’ was

extremely interactive with the participation of more than 250 students, it

covered topic such as a struggle of an independent Filmmaker in

industry, how a person can own different artistic hats, the importance of

freedom of expression of an artist, feminism further cast light on the

plight of ongoing social issues that were his provocation to write such

film of rare sensitivity and how the depths of societies degeneracy

continues to astound him.

He cascaded the bean about his future endeavours.
