In the world of ironies

I have often seen people just talk about good things and happiness, no one talks about pain, about something they are suffering from. Why is that so? That's because we are so engrossed in ourselves, our happiness as well as sorrows, that we completely forget that someone might be suffering from the worst. We are cribbing about things that don't even matter say, for example, we show tantrums about the food our mother makes because it's not something that we like but have we ever thought that someone might not have food? Or even worse no mother to provide food.

We never think of what others go through. We often ask everyone around us, ' All good? ' all we interested is in knowing what good is happening in their lives but even this comes with terms and conditions, we only listen to good things until it's not better than what we have or what we are doing in our lives. Forget about others, we don't even address and accept our pain. As much as possible we try to avoid it because we are either scared or ashamed of something we go through. As much it's important to accept happiness, accepting pain and talking about it is also important.

If someone is suffering from depression or some sort of even minor emotional issues, we start hush-hush gossips about them, unfortunately, if it turns out to be our family member we just shush them. We let them suffer alone, no one goes to listen to what led to this thing. Sometimes all a person needs is to be heard, no advice, no judgment, just being heard!

How ironic that our closed ones who promise to stay by us always and support us are the first one to shut us down if we suffer from something like this. How downcasting it is that we trust someone unknown like a ' psychologist ' or a ' counselor', to speak up to our issues and pains but are scared of telling our loved ones.
